More than just food.

How it all began?

In the summer of 2017, together with the community movement VLND, we decided to throw our first burger party called “70 burgers party” where we sold 70 burgers. The support and love we received from the small town of Viljandi made us realized that there is no going back. It laid the foundation for what we’ve established today – VLND Burger.

2018

In May 2018, our foodtruck was finally ready to conquer Estonia. We began our journey in Viljandi, but eventually ended up serving burgers anywhere from festivals to private events across Estonia. Our mission is not to serve good food alone, but to make people generally feel good and make them realize – as cheesy as it sounds – that anything is possible.

2019

Our next project after a fast-paced summer came naturally as slowing down wasn’t an option anymore, really. In April 2019, our stand at Balti Jaama Market was ready to go and since April 8, we’ve held our stand open every day (with a few exceptions). And moving into a new city hasn’t change our core mission – we still aim at serving burgers of the best possible quality. And not to forget one of the most important parts – we want to make people happy.

2020

In the summer of 2020, VLND Burger moved to Tartu and opened the second burger restaurant in the Aparaaditehas, during the corona crisis.

Where to next? Onward to the Põhjala Tehas!

2021

In June 2021, we opened our food truck preparation kitchen with a small burger restaurant in Tallinn. More precisely, in the Põhjala Tehas.

But in addition to offering burgers at the Põhjala Tehas, the year 2021 marked another stage in the development of VLND Burger: we started the production of vegan burger patties under the name Peas Out!.

2022

In 2022, we moved our home in Tartu from Aparaaditehas to Lõunakeskus. Cheers to new beginnings!

In addition, with Pajumäe farm, we have developed our very own burger cheddar, which is made from organic milk in Viljandmaa.

And we will certainly continue to work hard - by 2025 at the latest, we will also certainly give up the use of caged chicken eggs.

Our buns are made in a small family-owned local bakery in Viljandi and the meat for our patties comes from Estonian Meat House where it is freshly grinded every day.
